Last week our new Head of Economic and Cyber Crime DCI Chris Maddocks was joined by Niomie Haynes and two fantastic PCSOs from Greater Manchester Police to support businesses in Farnworth and Bolton.

It was fantastic to connect with a number of local businesses to share some of our ,free cyber security guidance, and also to talk to them about our ,fully funded cyber security package.

"Speaking to local businesses and listening to their concerns around cybercrime has shown that many businesses still don't know where to turn to when it comes to cyber. Often they told us that they're unsure if they can afford specialist support and don't know who to turn to if their facebook or Instagram pages are hacked. At the Cyber Resilience Centre, we're able to offer businesses a range of free support to help train their staff and put in place a range of measures to increase their resilience against cyber attacks."-DCI Chris Maddocks
