For small businesses, being resilient against cyber threats and maintaining defences is most effective when starting with the basics and putting them into practice on a regular basis. We often find with our members that once they’ve got into this rhythm there’s a curiosity to know what more can be done to ensure continued safety against attacks.
The Cyber Resilience Centre for Wales offers a variety of additional services but today, we wanted to focus on Cyber Essentials which is delivered by our trusted partners. First of all, you may be wondering what Cyber Essentials is. Here’s a short video for an overview.
Delivering Cyber Essentials accreditation is the WCRC’s team of 10 local businesses, which make up our trusted partners group. Arcanum, Astrix, Boyns Information Systems, Capital Network Solutions, Excellence IT, Jovasi, Knox Cyber Security, Morgan & Morgan, PureCyber and Seiber have all received the seal of approval from the UK national accreditation body, IASME, to provide accredited certification towards Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus.
Alongside this, our partners work together with SMEs on additional services such as producing business continuity plans should a cyber incident happen. Should there be a requirement for it, enhanced cyber security investigations including technical deep dives into a business, incident response, back-ups and disaster recovery, cloud services, IT consultancy and more, are also available.
Should you be interested in taking cyber safety to the next level, please contact us and we’ll refer you to the partners best suited to your needs. You’ll then be able to have a chat with them about the solutions to get you there.
We’ll shortly be launching a new series, where you’ll be able to get to know some of the individuals in our network but in the meantime, you can read a little bit about each company on our trusted partners page.
