Upon his appointment to the EMCRC's Advisory Group, Ryan said:

“Cyber is a domain of evolving threats unlike conventional crime, cyber criminals become smarter every day. Cyber security therefore must have a direct proportion to meet the adapting needs, which is where my passion stems, the challenges and differing elements of the whole picture.
I am extremely delighted to be joining the Advisory Group of the East Midlands Cyber Resilience Centre to support and champion the police, CRCs and other not for profit organisations in combating the evolving landscape.
Originally from Northants, and having now secured my roots in Lincolnshire, the ability to sit with likeminded individuals and help support a region I have lived in my whole life is amazing.
I worked for over 6 years in the RAF, so I know the value in public sector and the unique challenges it faces and have spent the last few years working with numerous public sector agencies. I am looking forward to bringing a fresh perspective with ethics at the very fore of my mindset. I hope I can work with the EMCRC to bring support, guidance and help promote secure practices to Lincolnshire’s many SMEs and wider business community.
The work the CRCs do is amazing and being able to help is truly exciting. I look forward to the future!”

Colin Ellis, Managing Director and Police Lead at the EMCRC, added:

"It’s great to get Ryan and RMG on our Advisory Group. Ryan is extremely knowledgeable and importantly really passionate about keeping the cost of cyber security affordable for SMEs, which is what we are about here.
His insight into the market and passion for good customer service will be really informative and will help us provide a better service for our business community members."
