The North West Cyber Resilience Centre has been selected for the Tech Round Cyber Security 40.
The list was created to celebrate the UK and Europe’s innovative cyber companies and initiatives.
The Tech Round website is home to startups and tech, offering a place for investors, decision-makers and startups big and small to keep up to date on trends and developments within this fast-paced, booming industry.
Founder Katie Gallagher said of the accolade, “We’re thrilled that Tech Round and their judges have recognised our work as being innovative within the world of cyber security and tech.”
DI Dan Giannasi, head of cyber and innovation at the NWCRC, added, “By providing affordable or funded training, education and membership to small businesses across the region, we can help protect them against this growing threat of cyber breaches and fraud.
“It only takes a few simple steps to offer a huge amount of cyber security and bring in good cyber health regimes for businesses, and save them potentially hours of lost time and huge amounts of lost money if they do get hacked.”
David Soffer, Founder and Editor-in-Chief at TechRound, said: “Cybersecurity is an increasingly important aspect in all of our lives, as more people become aware of the challenges and potential solutions. There are some wonderful companies in this space, doing some fabulous things and the innovation is clear to see. It’s been very insightful and interesting to see this so closely through this list. I’m sure many of these companies will go on to achieve amazing things in the cybersecurity space.”
