Alan Greig has been appointed as Chief Executive as BRIM prepares for growth following an unprecedented increase in enquiries from both the UK and overseas.
Founder, Mandy Haeburn-Little, who moves into the Executive Chair role, is delighted that Alan has accepted this invitation to work with her and lead the consultancy team to respond to the growing demand for BRIM’s support across governments, law enforcement agencies and private sector from several countries. This has come at a time when SME’s and supply chains become increasingly targeted by cyber attack in response to which BRIM is working with UK law enforcement to raise cyber resilience across SME business.
BRIM is best known for the innovative model rolled out with UK law enforcement, supported by the Home Office in the UK, and is becoming recognised for its swift measured impact to improve engagement with cyber resilience measures from hard-to-reach smaller organisations and those with limited resources. In addition, in the last year, BRIM has devised many new masterclasses, mentoring packages and skills development modules which enable the team to deliver knowledgeable, targeted support for senior stakeholders in organisations and institutions who wish to develop innovative and strategic approaches to reducing business risk.
“Alan brings a wealth of commercial experience as well as outstanding technical ability to this developing role. We have been delighted to deliver on behalf of our clients in the past 16 months and now we are looking ahead, through this new structure, to ensure that we have a unique and well-resourced team of experts, ready to deliver on the proposals we are being asked to consider” Mandy Haeburn-Little
Alan, a former consultant on the Critical National Infrastructure for leading technical organisations saw his career flourish, providing private online security services for some of the worlds most famous names for over 20 years.
Trusted at the highest levels for online protection for high-net-worth executives to blue chip companies, Alan has a track record of growing a commercial business that provided services internationally, in tandem with delivering critical support services for highly complex law enforcement agencies in different countries.
“Founded in 2019, BRIM embarked on a UK Government contract to establish a network of Cyber Resilience Centres across England and Wales following a successful pilot. As the pandemic hit, the roll out was escalated and the BRIM team adapted in capability and capacity to meet the demand at this critical time. We are now focused on expanding both our service offering and client portfolio for the future”. Alan Greig
