Two new regional businesses join the WMCRC to help bolster the regions cyber resilience

The Cyber Resilience Centre for the West Midlands is pleased to announce two more regional business have joined the centre through our Affiliation Membership package. We would like to wish a very warm welcome Sojiare and First Base Solutions Ltd.

The Affiliation Membership package provides businesses from the West Midlands region (covering the West Midlands, West Mercia, Warwickshire, and Staffordshire police force areas) with an opportunity to benefit from the features of the centre’s core membership, along with extra features personalised to each organisation, such as multiple e-newsletter features on a chosen cyber topic, and a half day cyber security awareness training session for their organisation.

Detective Superintendent Vanessa Eyles, Director of the Cyber Resilience Centre for the West Midlands said:

“Our mission at the WMCRC is very simple, we exist to help businesses of all sizes to better protect themselves against the threats posed by cybercrime.
“This is not something we can do alone, so it is wonderful that we are able to work so closely with a range of businesses from across the region to help amplify our messaging, whilst onboarding them as members so they can receive all the fantastic benefits of being a WMCRC member.

Sojiare

Sojiare is a cyber threat intelligence platform with the aim to reduce phishing by verifying the validity of organisations, governments, institutions, emails, e-commerce, and content from different sources.

It uses AI to identify the authenticity of content sources and flags down scam-related content.

Sojiare allows users to validate the sources of different business-related content and allows brands/companies to register their platforms as legitimate entities, helping them build trust with their audience.

Sojiare works as a subordinate body of Justice Lab, the legal desk of Citizens' Gavel Foundation for Social Justice. Sojiare, are devoted to building that trust for brands, individuals, and government bodies, making communication and transactions efficient and reliable.
