The Cyber Resilience Centre for the South East (SECRC) is thrilled to announce it is now working with Iron Dome who have joined under the Associate Membership Scheme.

Iron Dome are a friendly team of IT support professionals that look after the IT of small and medium-sized businesses. Iron Dome specialises in getting the IT systems of their clients compliant to Cyber Essentials and NIST standards.

Developing an IT and security roadmap that helps business owners have peace of mind that their IT is well-supported and as secure as possible. Their services include but are not limited to security reviews and audits, SOC services, disaster recovery and backup, cloud services and business continuity planning.

Andy Richardson, Detective Superintendent and Director of the Cyber Resilience Centre for the South East commented:

“I’m delighted to welcome Wayne and the wider Iron Dome team to the SECRC.
“With the latest Cyber Security Breaches survey identifying that 39% of UK businesses suffered a cyber-attack in the last 12 months, there has never been a better time to take the steps required to protect your business.
"Through collaborations such as this one with Iron Dome, I’m confident we can work to make the South East a safer region for businesses to trade.”

Wayne Stanley, Chief Executive Officer of Iron Dome commented:

“All too often company stakeholders shy away from improving their cyber security posture, stating that “we are too small for the hackers to worry about.
“However, it’s the smaller businesses that are most at risk as they are seen as “easy” targets for this very thinking. This is why we are really excited to be working with the SECRC. Together we are able to reach more businesses, educating them on steps they can take to easily improve their IT security and become more cyber resilient.
“We strongly believe that by working with the SECRC, we can play an important role in the education and demystifying of the misconception that all cyber solutions are overly complex, and an expensive black hole for businesses.”

The Cyber Resilience Centre for the South East exists to support sole traders, micro-businesses and SMEs across the region. We offer free membership which will inform you of the current threats gathered by policing intelligence, as well as providing simple steps to take to reduce your vulnerability to an attack. We also offer an opportunity to speak to our Head of Cyber and Innovation regarding your cyber security and concerns.
