Each Police force area in the SW Region has its own Cyber Protect Team and the South West Cyber Resilience Centre is pleased to co-operate with them. They have a wealth of knowledge and experience in dealing with cyber investigations and in how to protect you and your business or organisation from the threat of Cyber Criminals.

Police Cyber Protect Teams belong to the National Cyber Protect Network which forms part of Team Cyber UK. They are able to access National resources and are up to date with the latest guidance and threat assessments released by the National Cyber Security Centre.

Your Cyber protect team are available to provide a wide variety of events to suit your Business, Charity, organisation or community group. They are able to tailor their sessions to suit your requirements and can provide anything from a lunchtime drop in session to a half day training event.

The teams across the region are able to offer sessions on a whole host of cyber issues but most concentrate on the following:

· Current cyber threats and trends

· Phishing/Smishing/Vishing

· Data breaches

· Ransomware

· Social media

· Social engineering

· Passwords

· Public WiFi

· IOT

· Denial of service

· Response and recovery

· Cyber essentials/NCSC tool kit for boards

They are able to provide face to face or virtual online sessions. The events are totally free of charge. To contact your local Police Cyber Protect Team use your local police web site or contact us at enquiries@swcrc.co.uk and we will put you in touch.
