A nightclub in Berkshire will be running a security resilience exercise at the Atikclub Windsor with support from local emergency services and Windsor and Eton Borough Council.
It takes place on February 22.
A Atikclub statement said the private security industry has an important role in protecting the public.
It added: “Security operatives can often be the first on the scene in an incident and this exercise will provide a learning environment for door supervisors and nightclub staff to respond to a set of simulated exercises with the support of the emergency services.
“We have worked closely with Thames Valley Police in preparation for this event, our common goal is ensuring that going out to a club is as safe as possible for customers and those working at the venue.”
This event is the continuation of a programme of safety resilience exercises that we started back in 2019.
The club will be adhering to Government guidance. For more information please find working safely during coronavirus (COVID-19).
