Software provider Digifort is exhibiting its open platform VMS and analytics product at The Security Event (TSE) later this month.
The company will be at stand 4/B32 at the Birmingham NEC from 25 – 27 April.
It will be the first time that Digifort UK will show off the 7.4 version of platform, which includes metadata searching and processing in its neural analytics engine.
Nick Bowden, MD of Digifort UK, said: “Digifort’s latest VMS and analytics software will be on display on Stand 4/B32 at TSE. Digifort is an Nvidia technology partner.
“Its new analytics are optimised for multi-channel operation on NVidia Graphics cards, or GPU (Graphics Processing Units).
“They offer huge processing power, cost-effectively, and run alongside the VMS server. The analytics will recognize people, vans, bikes, cars, trucks, groups of people, bags and cyclists, including their specific colour profiles.
“The analytics learn a scene background and self-calibrate to minimize false alarms.
“Many rules can be applied individually or concurrently, such as presence, entry, exit, appearance, disappearance of an object; direction and tailgating filters; counting over a line; and stopped, loitering, abandoned and removed object.
“Digifort’s analytics also use a metadata reporting framework to allow forensic searching of recorded video for different objects and rules to the original settings. Please visit us at the show.”
