2024 UK OSPAs (Outstanding Security Performance Awards) are now open for nominations

The 2024 UK Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs) have officially opened for nominations.

Security professionals and organisations across the United Kingdom are invited to participate and showcase their exceptional contributions to the security industry.

The OSPAs, renowned for their integrity and recognition of excellence, celebrate the outstanding achievements and innovations within the security sector. Nominations will close at midnight on 3 October 2023.

2024 UK OSPAs in new development

The 2024 UK OSPAs will feature a wide array of categories, covering diverse aspects of security excellence, such as technology implementation, security personnel, outstanding team performance, and best security project, among others. By providing such an extensive selection of categories, the OSPAs ensure that every aspect of security excellence is acknowledged and honoured.

An exciting new development for this year’s awards is the inclusion of fourteen categories that will qualify winners to participate in the 1st Global OSPAs, scheduled to take place in 2025. The winners of these categories will automatically be entered into the Global OSPAs awards.

The judges are appointed by the leading associations, mark independently, assess against a published set of criteria and must declare a conflict of interest on every mark sheet.

Global recognition

Professor Martin Gill, Founder of the OSPAs said: “We are thrilled to open entries for the 2024 UK Outstanding Security Performance Awards noting that for the first-time winners in fourteen different categories will qualify for the first ever Global OSPAs, the best of the best. We look forward to highlighting those who are exceptional at what they do.”

The award ceremony for the 2024 UK OSPAs is scheduled to take place on 22 February 2024 at the iconic Royal Lancaster London, where the winners will be revealed and celebrated among their peers. The event will take place following a Thought Leadership Summit scheduled for the afternoon.
