Webeye has announced that Andrew Hall has joined its senior management and leadership team as Commercial Director – Hardware.

Hall has a wealth of experience in the security industry. Formerly with Resideo, he acted as Business Development Manager for the UK and Ireland, responsible for channel partner sales.  His role included managing the distribution channels in respect of the Videofied solution, a battery powered RF 2/4G video alarm system that has dominated the rapid deployment security market for more than a decade.

Webeye to launch its own brand, Vigileyez

Hall’s role within Webeye will initially be to manage the company’s hardware strategy within the UK. However, as the company launches its own battery powered video alarm system, Vigileyez, Hill will also take a lead role in the global rollout strategy and organise and manage Webeye’s global hardware channel partners.

Clive Mason, Webeye Founder and CEO said “I am both pleased and excited to have Andrew as part of our team. His knowledge of the rapid deployment security industry, combined with working directly for a manufacturer who dominated this commercial space for well over a decade will be of immense value to the company.  As Webeye moves into the manufacturing sector with its own next generation solution his knowledge and experience will be invaluable and I welcome him to the team”.

Team to grow further

Duncan Weir, Webeye Managing Director said, “I concur wholeheartedly with Clive’s remarks. As a company we have sought to strengthen our leadership team, so Andrew will not be alone. He will work closely with others, in particular with Chris Coughlin, our Commercial Director responsible for the company’s software expansion and two other senior players who are already in position (yet to be announced), and on the ground in Europe and America. As we grow our team and expand our product portfolio, we hope to become the product and software of choice for the generations to come.”

Hall added: “I am pleased to be joining Webeye at such an exciting time. I am looking forward to working with a great team and a fantastic portfolio of products and services. Having seen Vigileyez first hand, I can see a bright future ahead and I can’t wait to get started”.
