Arsenal Football Club renews contract with Mitie

Arsenal Football Club, one of the world’s biggest professional football clubs, has renewed its security vetting contract with Mitie for a further five years. The contract extension will see Mitie continue to provide essential vetting services include background checks, criminal records checks and Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks.

As one of the world’s biggest football institutions both in history and stature, Arsenal places a strong emphasis on employee security and safety and requires stringent background checks on current and prospective employees.

Arsenal Football Club to benefit from MyCheck

As part of the contract, Mitie’s vetting business, Procius, will undertake a suite of vetting services underpinned by its bespoke vetting technology platform, MyCheck.

MyCheck will be used to carry out a plethora of background checks including digital identity verification, CV and right to work checks, as well as verifying employment and education history. This contract extension demonstrates continued confidence in Mitie’s security vetting expertise and its technology-led approach to background screening.
