Evolution appoints new Area Sales Manager to lead expansion in Northern Ireland 

Evolution, an integrated fire and security systems business, has appointed Stephen Gilliland as its new Area Sales Manager in Northern Ireland to grow increasing business opportunities across the region.  

In this newly created role, Stephen will be responsible for leading and implementing Evolution’s sales and growth strategy in Northern Ireland, with a particular focus on new customer acquisition within the manufacturing, technology and software sectors. He will also be tasked with providing the highest level of service and support to existing customers in the region, as well as developing and enhancing relationships with local suppliers and manufacturers.  

Evolution eyes market growth

After initially training and working as an Electrical Engineer for more than 15 years, Stephen moved into sales, working as an Account Manager for one of Northern Ireland’s premier security systems businesses. He says he is keen build on Evolution’s strong presence and standing within the industry: “Evolution has earned its reputation as a leading systems integrator in the UK, Ireland and across Europe,” he says. 

“It’s an exciting time to join the business, and I am looking forward to playing my part in building on this success, establishing Evolution as the number one systems integrator in Northern Ireland that delivers exceptional levels of support and service to our customers.”

Stephen’s appointment follows Evolution’s purchase of a new office building in Belfast’s Titanic Suites. The new office will provide a new account management, service and support base in the country and beyond for new and existing customers.
