UK property developer Related Argent has appointed Munnelly Support Services (MSS) to provide construction logistics management and services, coordination and overall site security on Brent Cross Town, a development that is part of a regeneration project from Barnet Council.
Brent Cross Town is an 180-acre, £8 billion new net-zero park town for London that will include a large-scale mixed-use development including new homes, retail and office space, as well as improved schools and greenspaces in the area.
MSS will be responsible for the site wide management and coordination of the supply chain, including all aspects of traffic and delivery management as well as complete site security.
“MSS will play an important role at Brent Cross Town managing the perimeter of the construction site and safe movement and coordination within it and we are pleased to welcome them onto the project,” said Chris Dent, Construction Director at Related Argent.
“Effective site management is essential for the efficient movement of plant, vehicles and materials and the safety of our workforce and neighbouring communities.
“The programme continues to power forward with five buildings currently under construction and the first residential building scheduled to open by the end of 2024.”
“MSS are delighted to be appointed on the Brent Cross Town regeneration project with Related Argent,” added James Munnelly, Managing Director, MSS.
“MSS prides itself on bringing positive contributions to the places and neighbourhoods in which we work, whilst supporting our passion for introducing new technology in the construction sector.
“We are looking forward to working on the Brent Cross Town development with Related Argent in making a positive impact in Barnet.”
