Axis Communications has been awarded certification by Great Place to Work, the global authority on workplace culture, following its survey undertaken by 96% of Axis employees in 2023.
The research into employee satisfaction was conducted across 32 countries that comprise its EMEA-wide business, including the UK and has led to Great Place to Work certification in all countries where certification was possible, as well as for Axis EMEA function itself.
“Our success at Axis is a direct result of our culture and core values and we are pleased with how our employees reflect this in the latest survey results,” said Natalie Barbi, HR Manager for the UK&I, Axis Communications.
“Axis is a trustworthy and long-term employer that is not only focused on what we do but also how we do it.
“For 2024, we will look at the specific results and create plans to keep improving. This will involve internal comms and investing in training and development.
“We are proud of the working environment that we provide and have plans to maintain focus on the wellbeing of our employees and our inclusive culture that makes us a great place to work.
“We want to be the best.”
The independent assessment uses a unique methodology to uncover the most thriving workplaces, the company reports.
To determine an organisation’s standing, Great Place to Work administers its Trust Index survey to employees, while a Culture Brief evaluates the organisation’s HR and leadership practices, policies and culture.
To achieve certification, organisations are required to meet the 65% survey benchmark.
Employees highlighted that they were proud of the work they do and how it effects the world in a positive way; they feel the work has a special meaning and that it’s “just not a job”; 95% of employees said that they were proud to tell others that they worked for Axis EMEA, Axis says.
Also, employees feel that they and their colleagues are treated fairly, regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, disability, race or ethnicity.
“We are delighted with the amazing results uncovered in our recent satisfaction survey among UK employees,” said Linn Storäng, Regional Director Northern Europe, Axis Communications.
“It is not only a great achievement to evidence that strong company culture that I see every day in our offices with lots of mutual respect and trust, but also, it is so encouraging that employees see Axis as a company with a purpose and are connected to its vision of innovating for a smarter, safer world.
“Ultimately, of course, we hope that it will inspire others to join our brilliant team.”
