Security Journal UK is thrilled to announce the Association of Security Consultants as an Intellectual Partner for the SJUK Leaders in Security Conference, taking place at The Hilton Deansgate, Manchester UK on Tuesday 16 July.
Speaking on the announcement, Gary Thomas, ASC Chair said: “We are thrilled to have partnered with SJUK for its SJUK Leaders Conference. The day provides attendees with the time and space to explore strategies, market challenges, and opportunities.
“The Association of Security Consultants (ASC) is known for being the premier professional organisation for independent security consultants in the UK, what many people don’t realise is that we have also introduced a Corporate Membership for those employed in a senior security role in large organisations – private or public.
“We highly value supporting events of this calibre to ensure our members remain up to date with developments in threats, technological solutions and industry best practice, helping to shape the security landscape of the future.”
Organised by Security Journal UK and held in association with Eagle Eye Networks, SJUK Leaders in Security is positioned to be a premium conference and networking event for senior professionals working in the UK & Europe security industry. Attendance is strictly by invitation only, with members of the industry advised to register their interest in attending early to avoid missing out.
Established over 30 years ago, The Association of Security Consultants is the industry organisation for independent security professionals operating across the UK.
To join the ASC, applicants must undergo a vetting process and peer review to verify they have the appropriate level of experience and qualifications to operate in their field. To maintain membership, members must demonstrate continuous professional development.
Security Consultants require a diverse set of skills, knowledge, and experience to effectively meet the demanding requirements of their clients. A proficient Security Consultant is more than a subject matter expert in any single discipline; they are dynamic professionals who combine a range of qualities to navigate the intricate landscape of safeguarding individuals, assets, and information.
The ASC provides members with access to key decision makers and innovators in both the private and public sectors. This means they are kept up to date with developments in threats, technological solutions and industry best practice.
