Gallagher Security has expanded its training team with the appointments of James Robinson as Senior Instructional Designer and Toni Fisher as Instructional Designer.

Robinson and Fisher join Gallagher with a mission to shape the future of Gallagher’s training and enablement, delivering learning outcomes and empowering Channel Partners and End Users with the training tools they need to succeed.

A wealth of knowledge

Gallagher says Robinson brings a wealth of knowledge to the role with a background in leading instructional learning teams in the public sector.

With more than 12 years’ experience, he brings a blend of expertise with digital learning mediums as well as classroom facilitation, which he believes will add a level of authenticity to Gallagher’s training courses.

“I am genuinely impressed by Gallagher’s success in establishing a global brand right here in Hamilton,” said Robinson.

“Since joining the company, I’ve witnessed some innovative initiatives to unlock new possibilities for Channel Partners and End Users and I look forward to bringing that same innovative mindset to the training space.

“My ultimate goal is to make our training programs more engaging, interactive and relevant for all learners, regardless of their experience level, empowering them with the tools they need.”

Bridging the gap between theory and practice

Fisher complements Robinson’s skillset with her strong background in visual design and passion for conveying complex information in an engaging way.

“Through scenario-based learning and the incorporation of contextual elements, I aim to bridge the gap between theory and practice, empowering our Channel Partners and End Users to better understand our hardware and software,” said Fisher.

“We have ambitious goals to deliver the best learning experiences,” said Scott Bell, Training Solutions Lead, Gallagher Security.

“We’ve strengthened our training platforms with the recent releases of Virtual Classroom and Augmented Reality, providing immersive and interactive learning and our training content is set to follow suit.

“James and Toni’s dedication to learner-centric design will be instrumental in helping us achieve those goals.

“It’s a really exciting time to be in the training space.”
