The National Cyber Resilience Centre Group (NCRCG) is proud to announce HP as a National Ambassador this Cyber Security Awareness Month, building on the organisation’s existing work with the South East Cyber Resilience Centre (SECRC).

As a National Ambassador, the global technology company will be helping to strengthen the cyber resilience of our nation’s small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and develop the UK’s talent pipeline of skilled cybersecurity professionals. The organisation joins fellow Ambassador partners Aviva, CGI, Chainalysis, ISC2, Mastercard, Microsoft, NatWest Group, Resilience, SANS Institute, SAS, Sir Robert McAlpine, The Very Group and Trustify.

Over the past year, HP has been lending its support to the SECRC, with David Scutt, Global Head of HP Wolf Security Sales, providing his expertise as one of the centre’s Non-Executive Directors. The SECRC is one of nine regional centres across England and Wales, led by policing to provide high-quality, affordable cyber resilience services to smaller organisations in the region. Together the centres, along with NCRCG, make up the complete network.

Having seen the real and positive impact of the network through the lens of SECRC, HP is now formalising its backing at a national level and joining together with other Ambassador partners to embed cyber resilience across the UK economy.

This new role emphasises HP’s commitment to ensuring endpoint security in today’s hybrid work environments. The company’s approach recognises that human error is inevitable so, rather than blaming users who may mistakenly click a link or download an attachment that puts them or their business at risk, HP provides tools to protect against these actions. These tools help to ensure that, even if a mistake does occur, businesses are kept safe.
