Axis Communications has achieved SOC 2 (Systems and Organisation Controls) Type 1 attestation for cloud-based solutions Axis Cloud Connect platform and AXIS Device Manager Extend.

The SOC 2 audit, performed by an independent third-party auditor, verifies that Axis has implemented robust security controls and practices that meet the stringent criteria set by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Axis reports that compliance with the trust services criteria in SOC 2 demonstrates that it uses internationally recognised processes and best practices to manage the data from its partners and customers.

The attestation specifically evaluates the design of the security controls to ensure the protection of customer data.
