Videx Security has launched its XPROX-MF-SA panel mount reader, further strengthening the MiAccess offline proximity access control system.

The XPROX-MF-SA features the industry-standard UK window size of 40mm x 40mm, making it an ideal choice for both new installations and retrofitting onto existing entry panels, including those from third-party manufacturers, the company says.

The MiAccess system is popular with housing associations and local authorities due to its cost-effectiveness, eliminating the need for expensive onsite infrastructure such as internet connections.

Utilising advanced Mifare read/write technology, the XPROX-MF-SA enables an offline access control system whilst offering the added advantage of remote management through Videx’s free PC management software.

With the ability to configure up to 80 readers per site remotely, users can set access levels, free access periods and more – all without the need for onsite programming.
