We’re delighted to welcome security company Custodia Continuity as the latest Cyber Essentials Partner at the East Midlands Cyber Resilience Centre.
Custodia Continuity is the security company that doesn’t believe in dashboards and support tickets, their ethos means that there is a human being available to their customers 24 hours a day come rain or shine.
They level the playing field between the extensive options for security and continuity available to large businesses and the more DIY solutions aimed at smaller businesses which can hold back their security and compliance approaches.
Custodia understands that your security needs are as unique as your business, so every security solution they create is individual and based of four pillars of resilience: Security, Backup, Continuity and Compliance, which are key for any ambitious business.
Their core offering consists of exactly what every business needs in today’s market:
Best in class network and endpoint security solutions keeping attackers out.
Ransomware proof offline backups of all your precious data, automated and tested with multiple copies available. Need a clients file from a year ago? We have it for you.
Continuity and disaster recovery planning. Hope for the best but let them help you plan for the worst with managed disaster recovery.
Data protection compliance including policy writing and updating, staff handbooks, comprehensive training and DPO support.
This is the Custodia way - you are not on your own, you have access to support as and when you need it, with a real person, simply a phone call away (even at 2am!).
One relationship to allow you to get on with what you do best!
Jae Forrester, Director of Custodia Continuity, said of the CE Partner role:
"Custodia work with a range of businesses from startups to large SMEs to shore up their defences and build the kind of culture that allows organisations to grow securely and take on more demanding customers.
"As an IASME certification body we literally mark the homework of hundreds of businesses when it comes to their security credentials so we understand the challenges and frustration they can face and we’ve learned through experience how to take the pain away from security and compliance.
"Working with the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce as their preferred Cyber Security partner has taught us the value of the joined up collaborative approach and it is the Cyber Resilience Centre that really pulls this together for the region. We are delighted to have been invited to bring our experience to the table and contribute to the important work of the police owned Cyber Resilience Centre."
DI Colin Ellis, Managing Director and Police Delivery Lead at the EMCRC, added:
“I am delighted to have Custodia Continuity join us as one of our Cyber Essentials Partners. Their Director, Jae, brings a wealth of sector knowledge and experience to our Centre.
"They work hard to bring your business up to scratch with Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus, even IASME Governance if clients demand it. With over twenty years individual experience in keeping data safe and serving customers they are more than ready to help.
"There are no guarantees when it comes to being completely cyber secure, but it's important that those IT businesses who align with us here at the EMCRC don’t just talk the talk, but they actually demonstrate their commitment to good cyber security practices. Welcome aboard Custodia”
Our Cyber Essentials Partners are certifying bodies operating throughout our region that have been accredited by Information Assurance for Small and Medium Enterprises Consortium (IASME), who have been selected by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) as the body to oversee Cyber Essentials.
We are proud to work alongside the best cyber agencies and consultants from across the region to offer access to national intelligence data and affordable, practical help to businesses across the East Midlands.
Our Cyber Essentials Partners can help your organisation achieve Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certification, and like ourselves, are focused on promoting continuous improvement in cyber resilience.
Custodia Continuity are a great addition to the EMCRC's Cyber Essentials Partner group, and it shows our ambition as a Centre that we wish to partner with such outstanding businesses and organisations.
But our ambition doesn’t end there. We’re seeking the support of other distinguished businesses and motivational business leaders by joining us, not just as Cyber Essentials Partners, but as Community Members, Friends of the Centre, Community Ambassadors, Advisory Group members or Board members. We now have the scope for businesses to partner with us on various levels of affiliation to help us deliver our aims of securing businesses in the East Midlands.
If you would like to support our work and join our community, or feel you can bring equal skill, vision and ingenuity to the Centre in other areas, then please contact us via our website or contact Colin Ellis via his LinkedIn account.
