Is AI actually helping with burnout in security, or just adding to the chaos

I’ve been thinking a lot about how AI is creeping into security operations with automated tasks, assisting with threat detection, even handling some of the annoying grunt work. In theory, it should make life easier for analysts, but I’m curious… does it actually help with burnout?

I know SOC teams are constantly bombarded with alerts, and long hours seem inevitable, but have AI tools (like SOAR, Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.) actually reduced your workload? Or is it just another layer of complexity to manage?

If AI could genuinely help with burnout, what kind of features, tools or automation would make the biggest difference for you?
