HKC has announced two key leadership appointments, further strengthening its operations.

The appointments include Pille Murgelj as the new of Head of Buying and Ian Moore as Head of Technical.

Pille Murgelj

Murgelj has over 15 years’ experience within the electronics supply chain, having previously held management roles with an international electronics manufacturing company.

She was also a consultant to a supply chain start-up, helping to grow the business in a dynamic environment.

Her new role will see her enhancing procurement and demand planning processes within the HKC supply chain, handling inventory optimisation and strengthening relationships with suppliers.

Murgelj will also be working towards a simplified and standardised supply chain management process, while optimising inventory levels and managing costs to ensure ongoing availability of HKC products across the network.

One of her main responsibilities will be to work on bringing HKC’s supply chain in-line with the wider ASSA ABLOY Group strategy.

Ian Moore

Moore brings over 25 years’ experience in the security industry and initially joined HKC in 2009 within the technical support team assisting installers.

As HKC’s range and product complexity grew significantly, Moore provided valuable insights and expertise to the R&D team to enhance functionality.

He progressed to Technical Support Team Leader and his extensive product knowledge and customer support experience eventually led him to be appointed as Product Manager, where he helped shape new product ranges.

Most recently, he supported the development of HKC’s 4G-WiFi Communicator, launched in February 2025.

As Head of Technical, Moore will manage HKC’s technical operations, which includes customer support and testing new product developments to ensure they meet both technical specifications and the customer’s needs.

He will also be managing communication between other key areas of the business to ensure HKC continue to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions for professional installers.

“Contribute to building HKC’s future”

Murgelj commented on her appointment: “I am very excited to have an opportunity to be a part of HKC’s growth and success, and use my expertise to contribute to building HKC’s future.

“My experience in building and accelerating supply chains in many different environments will be crucial and I’m looking forward to working with the team here to enhance our supply chain as a whole,” she concluded.

“Incredibly rewarding”

Moore added: “I am thrilled to take on this new challenge and continue driving innovation at HKC.

“My journey here has been incredibly rewarding and I look forward to contributing to our future successes and ensuring we continue to deliver quality products and services to our customers,” he concluded.
