Trevor Ball, EMEA Sales Director at Keri Systems, explores how the cloud-based solutions market is set to evolve.

Can you tell me about your role at Keri Systems?

My role is extremely varied and very hands-on.

Developing and implementing sales strategies are important, as well as ongoing analysis of what works and what doesn’t.

This lays the foundations for our business to be in the best position to drive revenue growth and achieve our goals, however at Keri Systems our partners are our top priority.

I am passionate about cultivating strong, long-term partnerships with our key system integrators and proactively identifying and onboarding new partners.

By collaborating on projects using our advanced access control solutions, we gain invaluable insights into our partners and their clients’ evolving needs.

This, in turn, ensures a long-term partnership and drives mutual success for everyone.

What solutions are Keri Systems showcasing at TSE?

We are excited to be exhibiting once again at the Security Event.

We will be showcasing our latest innovations with Borealis, our cloud solution, the star of the show.

Borealis offers flexibility, reliability, ease of use and unlike traditional on premise systems, removes the need for a local server.

Borealis uses Amazon’s ultra-secure cloud servers to maximise performance and remove software limitations.

Enhancing our cloud offering is our Borealis Connect app, which provides users a convenient way to manage their systems on the go.

It also enhances installation speed for installers and integrators by importing new hardware straight into their system by scanning the QR code on the controller.

Also on show will be our exciting new Aurora readers.

A range of scalable and high security readers including QR Code, Long range and Biometrics all combining RFID MIFARE DESFire EV2/3, NFC and Bluetooth (Low Energy) technologies that are adaptable to any situation or scenario.

How will the cloud-based solutions market evolve?

The cloud-based access control solutions market will evolve significantly over the coming years.

Increased integration with other security systems like video surveillance, building management systems and other smart building technologies will offer a true holistic approach to security.

The benefits of such integration will enable enhanced security, advanced data analytics, scalability, and of course remote administration and management capabilities, particularly beneficial to businesses with multiple locations.

What are the company’s goals for 2025?

As a company, we continue to invest in new developments and enhancements to our core products.

2025 will be a year of exciting growth and innovation, with a particular focus on the continued development and enhancement of Borealis, our Cloud-Based Access Control Platform. Partner collaboration will be crucial as we expand and enhance our product integrations with various systems, such as VMS, wireless locking, entry panels, elevator control, and other critical security systems.

We are aiming to solidify our position as a leading provider of innovative and integrated access control solutions.
