Axis Communications has announced several new appointments that coincide with the completion of a restructuring, bringing together key regions including the UK & Ireland, the Nordics and Eastern Europe.

Joining the newly formed Northern and Eastern Europe region, the new appointments will reportedly focus on the UK & Ireland to ensure continued delivery of exceptional partner and customer support.

Axis reportedly achieved Great Place to Work status in 2024 following certification by the global authority on workplace culture.

The research into employee satisfaction across its EMEA-wide business, including the UK, led to Great Place to Work certification in all countries where certification was possible within EMEA.

Joining the Axis UK & Ireland team will be:

Simon Emmons

Simon Emmons, Sales Manager, AXIS UK & Ireland will reportedly be exploring new opportunities not only within physical security, but also for the purposes of business intelligence and operational efficiency using the video data drawn from network cameras.

Emmons highlighted: “I am very much looking forward to joining the team at what is a critical and exciting time in the security industry.

“Through Axis deep industry expertise and innovative analytics, we will be looking to unlock solutions not previously possible with an initial focus on Critical Infrastructure and City, Transport & Traffic projects where there is huge potential to make a tangible difference.”

Justin Hawkesford

Justin Hawkesford, Manager, AXIS Sales Engineering & Training is said to bring over 20 years’ experience in the security industry.

According to the company, Hawkesford will be supporting the Axis UK sales team to unlock opportunities not only in the traditional security market, but, again, by exploring concepts outside the market such as operational efficiency and safety.

Hawkesford added: “Alongside my colleagues, I will be looking to provide end users and partners with insights into how Axis products can be used for more than just security.

“The focus will be helping to reinforce Axis position as the trusted advisors and voice of authority when it comes to video and audio solutions, particularly around how to leverage analytics and AI to monitor industrial processes.”

The company has articulated that with planning well underway for its industry-leading event OPEN London on 7 October 2025, there have been a number of additions and changes in marketing, events and territory sales teams including: Natalie Bevins, Marketing Manager for UK and Ireland; Darren Anderson, Territory Sales Manager; while Daniel John and Miranda Minns have both taken on new Territory Sales Manager roles within the business.

“Growing talent pool”

Linn Storäng, Regional Director, Northern and Eastern Europe, Axis Communications stated: “It is a pleasure to welcome new individuals to our growing talent pool across the newly formed Axis region.

“These appointments in the UK and Ireland demonstrate our commitment to expanding our presence and delivering exceptional support to partners and customers as we continue our mission to innovate for a smarter, safer world.”
