B4 Secure has launched a new survey on business resilience which is said to help organisations reflect on how prepared they are, and to start building shared data.
The survey reportedly began with the company identifying that the ability to adapt quickly and recover effectively is a defining factor for business survival.
B4 Secure has articulated that the question has changed from if you will face a: Cyberattack; supplier collapse; fraud; protest activity or a major economic shift, to when you will face disruption.
The company has stressed that the decisions companies make on systems, people and planning will navigate how their businesses respond to incidences.
Despite the scale of these risks, B4 Secure reports that there is a lack of industry-driven data that reflects how UK businesses are truly coping with disruption.
The company has stated that they regularly speak to organisations that are navigating uncertainty in isolation, with unclear benchmarks or limited visibility into how others are managing.
B4 Secure highlights that as a first step towards filling this gap, they have launched the business resilience survey – a seven minute questionnaire designed to help organisations reflect on how prepared they are and to start building the shared data set.
The company’s survey is reportedly able to help organisations understand their own resilience and help businesses navigate uncertainty; additionally participants will receive a copy of the report including a summary of key insights and trends.
The business resilience survey is reportedly aimed at C-suite executives and key stakeholders, offering a chance to critically assess preparedness and strengthen strategies.
The company highlights that the main goal of the survey is to build an evidence-based resilience benchmark, grounded in real operational experience.
B4 Secure has stated that with this survey, they hope to paint a clearer picture of what is working and what is not across industries.
