Honeywell has launched its LenelS2 OnGuard a cloud-based technology in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, reportedly enabling regional customers to remotely manage their buildings’ OnGuard access control systems via the cloud for the first time.
Honeywell’s LenelS2 OnGuard is an on-premise security management platform that integrates access control, video surveillance and identity management to help protect organisations of all sizes.
It reportedly offers robust automation, real-time monitoring and seamless third-party integrations to enhance security and operational efficiency.
OnGuard Cloud is said to eliminate the need to manage and maintain OnGuard software and servers at each individual site, while providing customers with full control of each environment’s configuration from any connected remote location.
The new cloud-based solution, according to the company, supports the growing requirement for connected security capabilities across the built environment and underscores Honeywell’s alignment to three compelling megatrends including automation.
Phil Daniell, President Europe, Building Automation, Honeywell said “OnGuard Cloud supports the growing need to move critical IT architecture to the cloud, enabling improved control of key systems, more efficient use of data to drive autonomy and improvements in cost and process efficiency.
“OnGuard Cloud is a robust, customisable enterprise access control solution that enables existing OnGuard customers to move their systems to the cloud in a flexible way, in-line with their broader IT transformation strategies.”
