Gunnebo Safe Storage presents SafeStore Auto as an evolution of its automated deposit locker solution, designed in response to evolving global demands for security, flexibility and user-focused innovation.
With more than 2,000 SafeStore Auto systems already operating in 38 countries, Gunnebo Safe Storage’s latest development is said to build on a proven foundation, introducing critical upgrades across both hardware and user experience.
SafeStore Auto reportedly enhances the safe deposit experience, blending the latest security features with a refined aesthetic and increased adaptability.
Emmanuel Harir-Forouch, Global Business Development Director, Gunnebo Safe Storage highlighted: “SafeStore Auto is the result of careful listening – to our customers, our partners and the changing landscape of smart safe storage.
“This isn’t just an upgrade in technology.
“It’s about refining the way people access and manage valuables in a world that expects more flexibility, more transparency and more intelligent design.”
The company has reported that key enhancements include a dynamic box configuration – available for the SSA Maxi Model- enabling the number and arrangement of deposit boxes to be adjusted with ease.
This added flexibility is said to allow installations to be tailored more precisely to customer requirements and reduces the time and materials needed for setup.
The use of steel has reportedly been cut by up to 20%, contributing to a lighter and more efficient system that enhances both performance and cost-effectiveness.
The introduction of a high-precision scale system is said to provide real-time weight monitoring of valuables within each deposit box.
Integrated with the SafeControl Manager software, this new capability reportedly enables operators to implement flexible and transparent charging models based on the actual weight of stored items, supporting a smarter and more customer-focused business approach.
Gunnebo Safe Storage has reported that security has also been strengthened through the addition of a Supervision Sensor system, which offers real-time monitoring of the safe deposit area.
This system is said to intelligently detects unusual activity and can automatically trigger a response via SafeControl Manager to halt ongoing transactions and prevent potential threats.
The detection logic can reportedly be customised based on individual user routines, ensuring a secure environment that adapts to real-world usage scenarios.
Harir-Forouch added: “With SafeStore Auto, we’re building on a legacy and setting the standard for the future of secure storage.
“It’s a platform designed to evolve with user needs in a digital-first world, combining intelligent functionality with a streamlined, modern aesthetic.
“SafeStore Auto reflects our commitment to innovation, sustainability and reliability together with delivering both performance and design of safe storage solutions that integrate seamlessly into smart building environments.”
