Skills for Security has welcomed EMCS as its newest platinum sponsor, marking a significant step in efforts to strengthen the sector’s future workforce through apprenticeships.

EMCS reportedly has a long-standing reputation for reliability, innovation and commitment to supporting security installers.

Through this partnership, both organisations aim to address the industry’s skills gap while creating more opportunities for young people to access structured training and long-term careers.

Supporting Skills for Security

Ed Barge, Managing Director, EMCS said: “As the UK’s largest independent ARC, we’re proud to support Skills for Security.

“Partnering with an organisation so dedicated to developing the next generation of engineers through apprenticeship programmes is a fantastic opportunity for our sector.

“Supporting installers and their businesses is vital to ensure continued progress and innovation and through this partnership, we can help bridge the skills gap, meet the growing demand for qualified professionals, and safeguard the future of our industry for years to come.”

Apprenticeship programmes

The partnership will reportedly see EMCS provide direct support to Skills for Security’s apprenticeship programmes, enabling the organisation to expand its reach, enhance its training facilities and develop new resources.

This partnership is said to reflect a shared commitment to building a highly skilled, future-ready workforce that can meet the evolving challenges of the security sector.

Working together

David Scott, Managing Director, Skills for Security said: “Partnerships like this continue to show the strength of our sector when businesses and training providers work together.

EMCS’s backing will allow us to extend our reach, inspire more people to consider careers in fire and security and create meaningful pathways into the industry.

“This is about investing in the skills and innovation that will carry our profession forward.”
