Jacksons Fencing has announced the appointment of Neil Moffitt as the new Business Development Manager.
The company notes that with his 21 years of experience in policing and rail operations, he joins the company with a wealth of expertise in security, operations management and communication, offering fresh insight to support the company’s continued growth and innovation.
According to the company, Moffitt’s appointment reflects Jacksons’ ongoing commitment to strengthening its leadership team and maintaining its position as a trusted name in perimeter security solutions.
Moffitt began his career in policing, initially working on frontline response before qualifying as an ARV officer in Armed Policing in Central London.
His extensive experience also includes a role as Service Delivery Manager at Network Rail High Speed within the Operations Department.
This diverse background has equipped Moffitt with a broad skillset in security assessment, communication and operational leadership, which he now brings to his new role at Jacksons Fencing.
Throughout his career, Moffitt has demonstrated a commitment to professionalism and excellence, often working in high pressure environments that demanded clear decision-making, situational awareness, and strong interpersonal skills.
Moffitt commented on his appointment: “I’m excited to join Jacksons Fencing, a family company with a fantastic heritage.
“The team has been incredibly welcoming, offering advice and support, and it’s been great to even recognise some familiar faces from my college days.
“This role allows me to stay within the security industry and apply my experience in a meaningful way.”
Moffitt’s career has provided him with deep knowledge of security measures, crime prevention and counter-terrorism methodologies.
His expertise in identifying weaknesses in physical security, combined with strong communication and relationship-building skills, will be central to his contribution at Jacksons Fencing.
He is particularly passionate about the intersection of technology and physical security, recognising the growing importance of integrated systems that combine data-driven insights with robust perimeter protection.
“Throughout my career, I’ve gained an understanding of attack methodologies and preventative strategies,” Moffitt explains.
“I’m looking forward to applying these insights to enhance Jacksons’ position as a leader in perimeter security, while building strong relationships with colleagues and clients.”
As the security landscape continues to evolve, Moffitt recognises the importance of staying ahead of emerging trends and adapting to global developments.
He is eager to leverage his professional network and experience to bring innovative ideas and solutions to Jacksons Fencing.
His focus will include identifying new market opportunities, strengthening client partnerships and helping shape Jacksons’ long-term business strategy.
Moffitt added: “High security is constantly changing and it’s crucial to identify new trends early to provide effective mitigation.
“While I’m still learning the full scope of Jacksons’ operations, I’m excited to contribute fresh ideas as my understanding of the business grows.”
A strong advocate of teamwork and clear communication, Moffitt emphasises the importance of collaboration in achieving success.
Outside of work, he enjoys sports including rugby, swimming, cycling and running, as well as hobbies such as furniture making and spending time with his family.
He credits these activities with fostering discipline, attention to detail and a collaborative mindset that translates directly into his professional approach.
“I’m looking forward to meeting new people, embracing the challenges this role brings and contributing to a company that is so well respected in the industry,” Moffitt concluded.
Peter Jackson, Managing Director, Jacksons Fencing stated: “We’re thrilled to have Neil join our team.
“His expertise in security, operations and communication will be invaluable as we continue to refine our commercial strategy and deliver exceptional results for our clients,” Jackson concluded.
