The pandemic ravaged companies of all shapes and sizes. But it also shifted how they will operate long term. This will translate to new protocols and procedures, and ultimately shifts in security standards.

Laura Koetzle, vice president and group research director at Forrester Research, took time out during the RSA Conference to speak to Security Weekly’s Matt Alderman about applying the lessons of 2020 and recognizing changes to security management. As she details, customers will demand safety and convenience; brands will create hybrid experiences; stakeholders will build the future of work; smart firms will retire technical debt; and resiliency will become a competitive asset.
