Consultants Ernst & Young announced a partnership with CrowdStrike Monday, selecting the cybersecurity company’s Falcon platform as a preferred cybersecurity technology platform.
As part of the alliance, EY will leverage the expansive telemetry of the CrowdStrike Security Cloud, which features high-fidelity attack correlation, fast policy enforcement and intelligent conditional access based on continuous and real-time security risk assessments.
The alliance combines CrowdStrike’s Falcon security platform and incident response – including digital forensics and investigations – with EY’s consulting and risk management services.
EY and CrowdStrike aim to thwart ransomware attacks, as these attacks continue to gain momentum and sophistication from both cyber criminals and state-sponsored threat actors. In response, EY and CrowdStrike have created the Ransomware Readiness and Resilience solution – a multi-pronged strategy to effectively combat these threats.
The Ransomware Readiness and Resilience solution combines EY’s next-generation security operations and response (NGSO&R) services with the CrowdStrike Falcon platform. The solution promises immediate, real-time visibility into the organizations’ environments, identifying and eliminating potential compromises.
“We continue to hear from our customers that dangerous cyber actors threaten the livelihood of their business operations,” said Shawn Henry, CrowdStrike chief security officer and president of services. “CrowdStrike and EY have teamed up to offer our joint customers market-leading technology paired with leading consulting services to aid organizations and positively impact their business objectives through the prioritization of cybersecurity.”
