Access Security Products is holding a Barbecue Trade Day on 13 July to provide networking opportunities for security professionals and raise funds for Cavernoma Alliance UK.

Access Security Products is a Northamptonshire based independent access control distribution outlet that provides access security systems and other security products throughout the UK.

Access Security Products Barbecue Trade Day – Why visit?

There are several good reasons to visit the Access Security Products Barbecue Trade Day on 13 July.

It’s a great opportunity to meet and build connections with like-minded security professionals and key partners, to learn more about the extensive product range available and, of course, to enjoy the ample supply of free food and drink.

Crucially, it’s also a fundraiser for Access Security Products Managing Director, Jim Foster’s chosen charity, Cavernoma Alliance UK.

Why Cavernoma, and what is it?

Around three years ago Jim woke up with deteriorating vision, dizziness, headache and fatigue. The local hospital found he had a bleed on the brain and referred him to Oxford where he was diagnosed with a Cavernoma.

A Cavernoma is a cluster of abnormal blood vessels usually found in the brain and spinal cord. Symptoms can vary from seizures to neurological problems. Jim’s Cavernoma is smaller than a raspberry in size but is embedded in his brainstem which makes it inoperable.

The support Jim received from Cavernoma Alliance UK was invaluable. He has learnt to live a normal life with the condition and now takes every opportunity to help the charity so that others may benefit from the same fantastic support.

Tickets for Access Security Products’ biggest ever charity raffle are now available.
