Kingdom Systems, part of Kingdom Services Group, has launched its new React CCTV Towers across the UK, in order to tackle construction site theft.
It is the latest in the Kingdom Systems product range, powered by solar energy, which can be used as a standalone unit or as part of a full site solution alongside other security products.
Some construction sites don’t have mains power, often due to the location or the temporary nature of the site and that means site managers are often weighing up ensuring a safe and secure site and the inflexibility and costs associated with bigger, mains powered surveillance systems if the site is only erected for a few weeks, the company says.
“The Kingdom React CCTV Tower offers flexibility for construction site managers who want maximum protection, however brief a timescale,” said Paul Worsley, Senior Operating Office, Kingdom Systems.
“It has 360° coverage for complete surveillance and an audio warning, acting as a visible and audible deterrent around the clock.”
“Site managers want to know that their machinery and equipment will be safe from thieves when the site is unattended and the React CCTV Tower enables security protection that is cost-effective and tailored to each individual site.
“The CCTV Tower offers easy relocation for changing sites.”
By harnessing solar energy, these towers reduce dependency on fossil fuels, contributing to the decarbonisation of supply chains.
According to the company, this aligns with the construction industry’s broader Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) targets, helping companies minimise their carbon footprint and support greener practices in line with their own sustainability goals.
There is also a customisable option for companies that want to tailor their security focus beyond theft prevention.
The ability to link up to 200 additional sensors capable of detecting dangers such as smoke, water, carbon dioxide, means the site can also be protected from environmental dangers such as flooding, or fires caused by arson or equipment faults.
The surveillance of up to 15 metres also assists with health and safety risks across the construction site, with intelligent visual verification which provides evidence grade images.
