3DX-Ray’s AXIS-CXi cabinet-based X-ray systems have secured two high threat entities in Rome, Italy.
AXIS-CXi was originally designed by 3DX-Ray to bring the same colour differentiating image technology from airport baggage screening to the mail room environment.
The solution has since shown its potential for a variety of security scenarios, ranging from embassy lobbies to the homes of high-net-worth individuals.
According to the company, the AXIS-CXi has transformed the process for mail room scanning.
The product allows for colour differentiation scans to determine the shape and nature of the materials being scanned.
For example, orange shows organics, blue represents metals and green highlights inorganic materials.
The grey scale utilised within the AXIS-CXi allows for the recognition of shapes and the form of objects.
Vincent Deery, CEO, 3DX-RAY said: “AXIS-CXi with its combination technology and unobtrusive good looks has once again proved its usefulness in an ever-growing range of security scenarios.”
