The Bird Home Automation Group has won the iF Design Award 2025 for its D11x series in the compact product range.
The compact door stations for detached and semi-detached houses won 2025’s iF DESIGN AWARD in the home technology category.
The organisation develops and manufactures IP video door intercoms, access control devices, indoor stations and accessories under the trademark “DoorBird”.
DoorBird says that its D11x products impressed the expert panel of 131 independent design professionals with its slim but also elegant appearance.
The compact door station was given special weighting in 2025’s jury verdict due to its various applications and sustainability aspects such as resource-saving production, accounting for 20% of the assessment criteria.
Sascha Keller, CEO, Bird Home Automation GmbH said: “We are very proud that our products regularly receive awards from international experts.
“Because they meet the needs of our customers: Keeping an overview in an increasingly fast-paced world – keeping an eye on your home no matter where you are, controlling access according to your own wishes and not having to compromise between state-of-the-art technology and attractive design,” finalised Keller.
